# Automatic Creation

*A visible shoreline restoration appears beyond several separate practical materials*

You are already creating reality every moment without having to think about it, so manifestation is never a matter of "making" something happen. Bashar frames the human being as an automatic creator: change is the only constant, and the situations you bring into reality always arrive complete with all the ingredients necessary for their own unfoldment. The work, therefore, is not effort toward a distant goal but the recognition of what you already are right now — knowing yourself as the idea, the event — and then allowing, rather than forcing, the explosion of synchronicity that delivers each relationship, interaction, and object you need.

## You are the idea, the event

Asked how to bring intentions, visions, and projects into reality, Bashar reverses the usual search for a method. The picture that excites you is itself the signal that you are on the right track; excitement is the physical translation of the channeling of that picture into physical reality. The practice is to take it for granted, matter of fact, that the idea you focus on is the way you are right here, right now — and to allow, allow, allow, not make, the idea to manifest in what you call coincidental occurrences.

This is not positive thinking layered over a separate reality. The same session places automatic creation alongside the recognition that everyone is already abundant in whatever they choose — the same logic applied to abundance as to any other chosen state.

## Cause and effect are the same event

A second formulation sharpens why "allowing" works. Bashar describes cause and effect as one event seen from two angles: if you create the effect by knowing you are happy, the cause must be there, because there is no effect without a cause. The same applies to abundance: if you know you are abundant, you will be abundant. Choosing the effect first — rather than hunting for its supporting causes — is presented as the practical key to allowing yourself to know that you already experience what you seek.

## Recognition is the transformation

A closely related teaching in the same session treats the moment of recognition as itself the transformation. To question whether you might be caught in a habit is, in that very moment, to have recognized another idea and therefore to have made the shift — not to be inching toward it. If you allow the moment of revelation to represent a total reality, you continue to experience the reality of that revelation.

The companion teaching on timing makes the same point in another register: the timing can be now. Saying "now" is not enough — knowing is what makes it now — and every time you ask how, you separate yourself from the now understanding. When you say "I understand," what makes you think you do not still understand?

## Practical implications

Notice the difference between making something happen and allowing it. Bashar's framing is that the situations you create are already complete with the ingredients for their unfoldment; the obstacle is the insistence on a single path, not a lack of mechanism.

Use excitement as the compass. The picture that excites you is presented as evidence you are on the right track — excitement is the physical translation of the picture being channeled into physical reality.

Choose the effect first. Rather than searching for the causes that would justify happiness or abundance, know yourself as already in that state; the causes will then appear, because cause and effect are the same event.

Treat the moment of recognition as the change itself. Catching yourself in an old habit is framed as already having seen the new idea — the moment of revelation is a total reality, not a preliminary.

Drop the "how." Every time you ask how you separate yourself from the now of the understanding; the timing can be now when you know it is now.

## Representative passages

Realize you have to make anything happen. Change is the only constant. The situations you create to be your reality always come complete with all the ingredients necessary for their automatic unfoldment, in that you are an automatic creator. [...] all you need is to simply know that the idea is you, that you are the idea, you are the event. Take it for granted, matter of fact, that is the way you are right here, right now, and you will simply allow, allow, allow, not make, the idea to manifest in an explosion of what you call coincidental occurrences.— Bashar,

Recognizing that cause and effect are the same event. [...] You cannot have an effect without the cause. Therefore, if you create the effect by knowing you are happy, the cause will be there. [...] The same with any idea. If you know you are abundant, you will be abundant.— Bashar,
