# Conscious Commandment

*A hand places one stone now beside an unused line of older stones*

Conscious commandment is the recognition that the physical person — right here, right now — has the ability to choose and decide how life will be, and that reality will agree. It does not require petitioning a higher consciousness, a past self, or a future self; the choice made in the present, trusted, is what shapes experience. The feeling that the past is influencing you is only a present definition: a feeling is a reaction to a belief held now, so what seems like the past's reach is your current definition wearing that costume.

## The physical self is not cut off from higher consciousness

The teaching begins by collapsing the distance most people place between their physical consciousness and a "higher" consciousness they imagine runs things from out of reach. "You are your higher consciousness anytime you choose to believe that you are." When you act in alignment with your excitement, integrity, desire, and service, "the things that excite you in life, your decision to do those things is your ability to exercise conscious commandment over your reality, and it is that simple."

The practical reframing is that communication with higher consciousness is not a separate-channel conversation but "the willingness to act as your higher consciousness would act if it were physical, which it is."

## Decisions stick because you say so

The companion session Feedback makes the mechanic literal. To a questioner who believed there were unconscious forces that might interfere with her choices, the reply was: "you have conscious commandment and that the decisions you make will stick for no other reason other than because you say so ... You don't need any other reason. I say so. That's why."

> — Feedback (text), [Source](https://sassani.app/source-transmissions/feedback)

Even if a double-blind definition ("I believe that this belief will not interfere") is needed at first, it is treated as a transitional permission slip that eventually dissolves into the simpler form: "I believe that this is what I believe. Period."

## "Unconscious" commandment is conscious unknowing

The teaching refuses the idea of an unconscious self running things outside your reach. "If you are aware that the commandment is coming from somewhere within you, it can be a conscious commandment." The phrase "unconscious knowingness is the same thing as conscious unknowingness" names the move: what you call unconscious is something you are choosing not to know consciously.

Drop the idea that consciousness exists in levels, and "all of the previously created levels of consciousness melt into one understanding," which can then express itself however is needed in the moment.

This does not require analytical understanding of how a reality is being attracted; only the willingness to act as if it is certain that you create your reality.

## The past does not control the present

Conscious commandment also severs the apparent reach of the past — including past agreements, karma, or inherited definitions. "The past does not control the present. The present is not a result in a controlling way of the past. You define yourself to be whatever you believe you are at any given moment"; redefining yourself now "will change your past to accommodate whatever definition you choose to be in the present."

Self-imposed karma is treated the same way: it is the carrying-through of a momentum toward balance, not an outside judgment, and it does not dictate specific one-to-one repayments.

The same teaching appears in Feedback: the present choice redefines the past and future together, because both are created from the now.

## Integrity is the test

Because conscious commandment places the source of reality-shaping in the present self, the framework needs an internal check to keep it from becoming license. That check is integrity, used in the specific sense of integrated, whole functioning. "With integrity means that you are functioning as an integrated being. Integration is functioning as a whole. Meaning there is no separation between you and the beings you are killing. In other words, the recognition that all murder is suicide."

> — Conscious Commandment (text), [Source](https://sassani.app/source-transmissions/conscious-commandment)

Domination is treated as evidence of a belief in powerlessness — "That which needs to dominate does not believe it is in control already" — so commandment exercised as control over others is, by definition, not conscious commandment.

> — Conscious Commandment (qa-3), [Source](https://sassani.app/source-transmissions/conscious-commandment)

Acting within integrity and service is what makes a present choice the legitimate organizer of experience.

## Practical implications

Act as your higher consciousness in physical form. Communication with higher consciousness is the willingness to act as it would if physical; the decision made in excitement, integrity, desire, and service is the commandment.

> — Conscious Commandment (qa-1), [Source](https://sassani.app/source-transmissions/conscious-commandment)

Trust that decisions stick because you say so. No external authorization is required; "I say so" is the reason, and a double-blind definition can be used as a transitional permission slip until it dissolves.

> — Feedback (text), [Source](https://sassani.app/source-transmissions/feedback)

Treat "unconscious" blocks as conscious unknowing. What feels outside your reach is something you are choosing not to know; awareness of a commandment makes it conscious.

> — Conscious Commandment (text), [Source](https://sassani.app/source-transmissions/conscious-commandment)

Redefine yourself now rather than excavating every old reason. You do not have to dredge up every old belief before placing a new one; acting on the preferred definition replaces it, and the past rearranges to match.

> — Conscious Commandment (text), [Source](https://sassani.app/source-transmissions/conscious-commandment)

Check each commandment against integrity and service. Commandment used to dominate or harm is not commandment; integrated wholeness — recognizing no separation between self and other — is the test of a legitimate commandment.

> — Conscious Commandment (text), [Source](https://sassani.app/source-transmissions/conscious-commandment)

> — Conscious Commandment (qa-3), [Source](https://sassani.app/source-transmissions/conscious-commandment)

Use imagination to find the form your commandment takes. When you ask for a technique, your imagination is the primary tool; whatever it gives you, trusted and acted on, cancels old habits.

None of this is medical, legal, or financial direction. Integrity also means honoring the standing boundaries: present commandment does not authorize ignoring qualified care or overriding the consensual rights and safety of others.
