# Creative Relationships

*Two people independently shape linked parts of one garden-work structure from separate stations*

In Bashar's teaching, a creative relationship is any relationship that is built from a place of inner completeness, integrity, and open communication, and so becomes mutually enhancing rather than mutually excluding. The session framed here spends its full second half on this one subject, beginning from the relationship you have with yourself and only then turning to other people — because, as it puts the foundational rule, "when you talk about creative relationships with other people, if the one you have of yourself is not creative, it is unlikely anyone else is going to experience it."

## The self-relationship is the foundation

Before treating attraction or partnership, the teaching situates creative relationship as an outgrowth of the relationship to self. The first long exercise in the session has each person balance their own masculine and feminine sides within, so that they stop vibrating as an incomplete individual and begin to function as a complete one.

The premise is that whatever vibration you are is the reality you get: walk around with the vibration of an incomplete individual and you draw partners who reflect that incompleteness back to you, while a balanced self draws reflections of fullness.

Reclaiming the inner child — curiosity, trust, play, the expectation of surprise — is named as a necessary ingredient of creative relationship, because relating is meant to be "child's play" once the inner balance is restored.

## Integrity and open communication are the dividing line

The session draws an explicit line between relationships that are creative and relationships that are exclusive. Multiple partnerships, or a single partnership, become mutually enhancing when they are created from integrity and open, honest communication with everyone involved; created from dishonesty and secrecy, the same forms act as exclusive, contractive energies. Bashar's civilization is offered as an example: all relationships there occur "within the marriage," because all individuals are understood to be married to everyone, and the adults parent all the children together.

This is presented as a vibrational principle rather than a prescription of form — form follows integrity.

## Each person is a moment-specific soulmate

The teaching broadens "soulmate" away from a single lifetime partner. Every individual you interact with serves you by reflecting what you need to know at that moment, so for that moment they are your soulmate; whether a partnership turns out to last a whole lifespan is something known only in retrospect, not a thing to be imposed in advance.

The instruction is to live in the moment, trust yourself, and let change belong inside the relationship rather than treating change as a threat — because resistance to natural change is what produces the experience of loss, not the change itself.

## Relationships mirror the vibration you hold

A central practical teaching is that relationship friction is reflection, not verdict. Repeatedly attracting unfulfilling partners is framed as the universe showing you the vibration of incompleteness you are radiating, so you can change it — not as evidence that you are bad or stuck.

> — Creative Relationship (Japan) (qa-4), [Source](https://sassani.app/source-transmissions/creative-relationship-japan)

Conversely, when you act on what excites you, you may still draw individuals with much to learn; the question to ask of any partner becomes "how does this individual reflect to me my excitement in life?" rather than "why is this happening to me?"

The mirror works both ways: you attract people to be a shining example to them of what they can be, or they attract you to be one to you.

## The transparent-crystal image of mutual service

The session closes its relationship teaching with an image: be a shining, bright, transparent crystal, so that nothing impedes the flow of your inner light and others may be served by it, while the light from other people passes through you except for what you choose to absorb. Operating on your own frequency, even another's negative intention is translated into a positive manifestation in your life — presented as the gift of unconditional love.

Telepathy between intimates is described as the natural outcome of two frequencies growing similar enough that the two begin to think alike at the same time, not as literal mind-reading; it strengthens individuality rather than dissolving it.

*Separate walkers cross paths around two clear crystals that remain distinct as light passes between them*

## Practical implications

Tend the self-relationship first. Creative relationship with another depends on no longer vibrating as incomplete; balance your own masculine and feminine sides before demanding completion from a partner.

> — Creative Relationship (Japan) (qa-5), [Source](https://sassani.app/source-transmissions/creative-relationship-japan)

Make integrity and honest communication non-negotiable. These are the conditions under which any relationship form — single, multiple, lifelong, brief — becomes mutually enhancing rather than exclusive.

> — Creative Relationship (Japan) (qa-2), [Source](https://sassani.app/source-transmissions/creative-relationship-japan)

Treat friction as reflection, not verdict. An unfulfilling pattern is the universe showing you a belief about yourself so you can change it; it is not proof you are bad or trapped.

> — Creative Relationship (Japan) (qa-4), [Source](https://sassani.app/source-transmissions/creative-relationship-japan)

Hold soulmate expectations loosely. Treat each person as the soulmate for the moment they serve, and let whether a bond is lifelong be known in retrospect rather than imposed up front.

> — Creative Relationship (Japan) (qa-3), [Source](https://sassani.app/source-transmissions/creative-relationship-japan)

Let change belong in the relationship. The fear is usually of change itself; when change is allowed as natural, the apparent threat of loss relaxes.

> — Creative Relationship (Japan) (text), [Source](https://sassani.app/source-transmissions/creative-relationship-japan)

Reclaim play. Curiosity, trust, and the expectation of surprise are named as the inner-child capacities that keep relationship creative rather than contractual.

## Representative passages

As long as all of those relationships are created through a sense of integrity, they enhance each other. If multiple relationships or even single relationships are created from dishonesty and secrecy, then they act as exclusive energies. If you have open and honest communication with all individuals involved and these relationships still occur in multiple forms then they are representative of your natural self.— Bashar,

Every individual that you interact with at any particular moment is for that moment your soulmate because they serve you best at that moment. We do not put expectations on how it must be. We live in the moment and trust ourselves.— Bashar,

When you are a shining, transparent radiant crystal, then nothing impedes the flow of your inner light so that others may be served by it… when you operate on a particular frequency, even if another individual has a negative intention toward you, you will translate their energy into positive manifestation in your life.— Bashar,
