The recurring reframe he gives to people who ask "where do I come from" or "who is my star family" is that the question itself rests on a linear misunderstanding of space and time. Because all lives exist at once — what you call past and future are parallel realities running alongside this one — the precise question is not where you come from but which other concurrent lives you are presently connecting to because the connection serves you here. The accounts in this chapter are channeled attributions; they are presented as Bashar's framing of humanity's links to other civilizations and counterpart selves, not as verified history. ## The reframe: connections, not origins Bashar's consistent move is to redirect the origin question into a connection question. The physical human comes from Earth; what you are sensing when another place "feels like home" is not a discovery of where you are from, but an awareness of more of your being — a connection you can now draw energy and information through to aid you in this life. In his reading of one questioner's energy, he names the systems humans most often report strong present connections to: the Sirian star system, Arcturian energy, the Pleiadian systems, and the Orion systems — "to varying degrees, to varying recipes, as befits the themes you are choosing to explore this life to be." A strongly felt response to a specific star system — being moved by the Pleiades in the night sky, for example — is, in this framing, the senses picking up a vibration you have a personal connection to, a channel you have made in this incarnation to draw energy and information down through. ## Everyone has these connections; "starseed" is a degree of awareness Bashar is explicit that extraterrestrial connections are not rare. Every person has connections to other realities and dimensions and is already downloading information and energy from them; the word "Starseed" does not name a special physical arrangement that only some people have, but the degree of awareness a person has of connections that exist for everyone. Greater awareness gives a more holistic view of the self — analogous, he says, to seeing many moves ahead on a chessboard at once — which lets a person consciously draw on those connections and apply the information here, even as the counterpart lives draw back from this one in a two-way exchange. A related label he uses is "wanderer energy": beings who choose incarnational experiences without being fully attached to the place they incarnate in, participating because it is exciting and they want to learn. He names this as one thread among many — including threads into the Essassani civilization — that a person can carry. ## The Oversoul pattern A specific structural teaching underlies these connections: when you make contact with a "dimensional or extraterrestrial being," more often than not you are actually connecting with another version of your own Oversoul. This is why so many contacts feel intimate and personal rather than alien — the apparent "other" is, in Bashar's framing, another expression of the broader self you also are. It also means that contact experiences should not automatically be read as encounters with a wholly separate civilization; the first hypothesis is a concurrent aspect of your own larger consciousness. ## Dream contact and symbolic imagery Many extraterrestrial connections surface as dreams. Bashar frames childhood dreams of extraterrestrials as often memories of actual contact, and the paralysis sometimes felt in such experiences as the disorientation of shifting dimensions without yet knowing how to move in that dimension — not a reason for fear. Disturbing imagery in such dreams need not be literal; it can be a projected symbol, a telepathic connection depicted in pictures to deliver certain information rather than an event actually occurring. The practical guidance for opening such a connection is again the formula: act on your highest excitement with no insistence on the outcome, and you become "the most receptive antenna" for further information when you are ready for it. ## Practical implications The transcripts support several grounded orientations for someone exploring an extraterrestrial connection: Reframe the origin question. Replace "where do I come from" with "which concurrent lives am I connecting to now, and how does drawing on that connection serve my theme here?" Treat strong felt response as signal. A disproportionate emotional or aesthetic pull toward a particular star system can mark a connection you can consciously draw information through, rather than proof of origin. Remember everyone has connections. The work is not to acquire an ET link but to become more aware of the links already present; awareness, not status, is what the word "Starseed" actually denotes. Test contact against the Oversoul hypothesis. Before assuming a contact is a separate being, consider that it may be another version of your own Oversoul — a reframe that changes how you interpret the exchange. Read frightening dream imagery symbolically first. Before treating disturbing contact dreams as literal events, consider them projected symbols carrying information; fear often reflects the definition given to the experience rather than the experience itself. These orientations are inner frames for working with connection experiences; they are not a substitute for professional psychological care for distress, persecutory beliefs, or sleep disturbance, and channeled accounts of civilizations or contacts are not verified history. ## Representative passages You come from Earth, obviously. … All things exist at once. All lives are simultaneously coexistent. … Therefore, if you understand the simultaneity of existence, then the question where do I come from, in a sense, is pointless. The more precise question is … to what other lives am I creating a present connection that allows me to download information from those other simultaneously concurrent lives that serves me here. … many of you now are making very strong connections to the Sirian star system, Arcturian energy, Pleiadian systems, Orion systems, to varying degrees, to varying recipes, as befits the kind of themes you are choosing to explore this life to be.— Bashar, Redefining Who Is Your Star Family (redefining-who-is-your-star-family#qa-1) All of you, every single one of you have connections to other realities, other dimensions that you are downloading information and energy from. The concept of the Starseed really isn't so much a description of the specific physical nature of these connections or the mechanical arrangement of these connections because you all have it. The idea of the Star Seed is the degree of awareness you have of those connections as they exist.— Bashar, Starseeds Simultaneous Connections From Other Selves Game Of Chess (starseeds-simultaneous-connections-from-other-selves-game-of-chess#qa-1) Many of you will discover both in the idea of channeling … and in the idea of making connections to other dimensional or extraterrestrial beings, not always, but more often than not, you will actually be connecting with another version of your Oversoul. That's very common.— Bashar, When Connecting To Other Consciousness It Is Usually Part Of Your Oversoul (when-connecting-to-other-consciousness-it-is-usually-part-of-your-oversoul#qa-1) Your senses picked up upon the vibration that you have a strong connection to, that you've made a strong connection to, in this incarnation, to draw energy and information down through that connection to aid and assist you in application in this life.— Bashar, Senses Can Pickup Energetic E.t.Connectiions (senses-can-pickup-energetic-etconnectiions#qa-1) ## Related - [Essassani (Bashar's Civilization)](https://sassani.app/topic/essassani) - [Parallel Realities](https://sassani.app/topic/parallel-realities) - [Oversoul](https://sassani.app/topic/oversoul) - [Open Contact](https://sassani.app/topic/open-contact) - [Hybridization](https://sassani.app/topic/hybridization) Markdown twin of https://sassani.app/topic/extraterrestrial-connections.
