# Extraterrestrial Life > Bashar describes a populated cosmos with many civilizations across dimensions and densities including his own Sassani people hybrid races and the Yayel as humanity genetic relatives. - Canonical: https://sassani.app/topic/extraterrestrial-life # Extraterrestrial Life In Bashar's cosmology, extraterrestrial life is not a hypothesis but an operating fact of a populated universe. Many civilizations exist across dimensions and densities, some physical, some quasi-physical, some entirely non-physical, and humanity is already in early stages of contact with a number of them. Bashar speaks as a representative of one such civilization — the Sassani (Essassani), a hybrid race — and his teaching on extraterrestrial life covers who these civilizations are, how contact unfolds, why it is paced the way it is, and how humanity is related to several of them genetically and soulicly. ## Bashar's own civilization Bashar describes his own people as a hybrid civilization native to a world about 500 light-years from Earth, not visible to human instruments because it exists on a different vibrational plane. They are "quasi-physical" — they have "elements of physicality and elements of spirit," and have evolved beyond the need to eat, sleep, or procreate physically. They subsist directly on the energy of creation, and when they wish to bring a new being into existence, several of them create an energy bubble in which a new life form simply manifests. The session frames this as where humanity is headed, not a remote alien condition: Bashar's people were once more like humans, with sleep, food, and physical procreation, and they evolved to their current state by acting on their highest passion to the best of their ability. Their trajectory is presented as a model of the path, not an exception to it. ## Hybrid civilizations and humanity's place in them Bashar's account of human origins is not that humans were "placed" on Earth by aliens. The native hominid species indigenous to Earth was, rather, genetically altered into the form humanity now has — a modification, not an importation. The so-called "greys" of abduction lore are, in this teaching, a mutated race of humans from a parallel Earth who destroyed their reality and lost the ability to reproduce. They draw on viable human DNA from this and other parallel Earths to create hybrid races. There are five such hybrid races, of which Bashar's Sassani is one. Within roughly a thousand of our years, Bashar says, humanity will choose to no longer incarnate in the same form, and Earth will become the sixth hybrid civilization. Many people now living are, in this account, beginning to wake up to having agreed to this larger story. ## The Yayel / Shalanaaya: first open contact When asked who besides Bashar is attempting to contact humanity now, the answer is that the first civilization likely to make open contact is called the Yayel — known in Bashar's ancient language as the Shalanaaya. They are a hybrid civilization similar to Bashar's own, but more closely connected genetically to humanity, and Bashar identifies them as the ones who will be first. ## How contact unfolds, and the timing question Bashar is explicit that he gives probabilities, not predictions. There is no prediction of the future in his framework — only a sensing of the energy present at the time the reading is made, which can change if the energy does. With that boundary stated, the present-tense reading on open contact is that it is most likely to occur sometime in the window humanity calls 2025 to 2033, and that between 2015 and 2017 the world would "know for a fact that extraterrestrial life exists" — though not necessarily by ships landing, since the form the disclosure takes is not specified. These conversations themselves are described as an early stage of contact: dialogue that introduces new ideas, changes the listener's frequency, and makes Earth more compatible with civilizations already operating more holistically. The acceleration is co-creative — Bashar's civilization will not do the work unilaterally. "The more you live the way you prefer to live, the more you will meet us halfway with your vibration, and then we can come the rest of the way. But you have to meet it halfway." ## Non-interference and the quarantine idea The pacing reflects a principle of non-interference. Other civilizations recognize humanity's right to evolve as it chooses and will not override that choice; contact's timing follows collective readiness, not external schedule. This is the same principle Bashar elsewhere calls the "quarantine" or prime directive — its end does not mean immediate landings, only that the barrier to interaction is lifted when Earth is genuinely ready. Bashar's civilization will take its cue solely from that readiness. Within that frame, Bashar does say that beings from other civilizations and dimensions do temporarily take up visitation or residence on Earth to observe, learn, or experience, and that there are "extraterrestrial bases on your planet here and there and on your moon and in several planets in your solar system." These are presented as observations from his civilization's vantage, not as a call to alarm. ## Long-standing contact: Sirius, dolphins, and amphibious memory The Remembering session traces one much older line of contact. Certain beings from Sirius have been communicating with Earth for a long time, and dolphins have been receiving that communication without consciously recognizing it. Human myths of half-human, half-fish amphibious creatures — and the idea of mermaids — are read here as race memories of contact with quasi-energy Sirius beings whose watery-seeming nature was the closest human filtering could come to describing them. Some of those memories also reflect genetic experiments in Atlantean priesthood days, in which vessels made of orichalcum (a gold-silver-copper-mercury alloy) were used by priesthoods that recognized such communication existed. ## Practical implications Treat the timing as a probability, not a prophecy. Bashar's contact window is explicitly a present-tense energy reading, not a fixed date. The framing matters: it leaves room for the energy to change, and refuses to function as a prediction that overrides choice. Meet the vibration halfway. Contact is presented as co-creative. Waiting passively for it is at odds with the teaching; living the way you prefer is itself the acceleration. Distinguish Bashar's framing from empirical claims. Statements about hybrid races, bases, or future timelines are part of Bashar's cosmology as channeled, not scientific findings. They are not a substitute for evidence, disclosure, or diplomatic, legal, or governmental processes governing real contact. They make no claim about any specific person's origin, genetics, or identity. Use the cosmology as a mirror, not a hierarchy. Bashar calls Earth's density a "master graduating class," not a kindergarten — the point is to counter self-diminishment, not to install a new pecking order of civilizations. ## Representative passages The first civilization it is likely that you will make open contact with are called the Yayel, or what in our ancient language we call the Shalanaaya.
