# Health & Wellness

Bashar treats the body as a self-organizing system that returns toward health when given what it actually needs, and treats symptoms as meaningful reflections of the person's state of being. This is not a medical framework and not a replacement for clinical care; the transcripts explicitly decline individual health advice and route the listener toward foundational self-care, broader frameworks of meaning, and whatever professional support they attract to themselves.

## Six foundations before any specific remedy

Before discussing any particular condition, Bashar names six foundational requirements for the body to maintain itself: oxygenation through deep, non-panic breathing; hydration (one to two quarts of water a day, with thirst treated as the final warning signal, not the first); movement and exercise to pump the muscles and flush the system; reduction of stress; removal of toxins already in the body and the environment; and a lightened diet of fresh, raw, water-rich, organic food. These six alone, he says, are enough to prevent the vast majority of conditions, because the body has its own natural intelligence when supplied with what it needs.

## The body reflects the state of being

Symptoms are framed as communications from the body rather than as enemies. A rash and side pain in someone who had been wearing a constrictive back brace is read as a possible mix of lymphatic and neurological constriction and an allergic reaction to spores, treatable through cleansing — and the symptom is also read as a push from the body toward the person's true work. "Very often when you have something that points the way to the direction of your true self and your true creative expression of your service on your planet, then you will continue to create bit by bit here and there," Bashar says; the sooner the person acts on what they know is more representative of their truth, the less need for the symptom to "inconvenience" them.

A similar framing appears in a benefit session for a woman with cancer: "You have absolutely every single thing you need to change, as you would call it, to eradicate any formation, any manifestation of disease. You have everything you need within yourselves and within your environment," with the counsel to take outside opinions as reflections and decide for yourself what is true for you.

## Substances work in context, not in isolation

Bashar treats specific substances as conditional, not universally effective. MSM (organic sulfur) combined with high-infusion vitamin C is described as going to where the body needs it most for repair — but if the body is also receiving other toxins (coffee is named, both for its toxins and as a diuretic that dehydrates), the supplement may spend all its strength fighting the incoming toxins and never reach the place it is really needed. Increased water intake is suggested to balance the diuretic effect.

Pendulum self-testing for supplements is treated as unreliable for most people because they are not strongly enough in touch with their inner selves.

## Standing boundary on individual health advice

At a certain timing, Bashar explicitly declines to address personal health issues and redirects listeners to previously given general material. Asked specifically about a cancer recipe, the response is: "At this timing, we do not address the idea of personal health issues except to refer you to any information we have already given, starting with the idea of the detoxification of the system, and allowing your intuition and imagination to guide you from there. It is now someone else's job to do so."

Tools such as a contact crystal are framed as permission slips rather than authoritative interventions.

## Practical implications

These discussions are not medical, nutritional, or therapeutic guidance. Bashar himself declines personal health advice at this timing and directs listeners to general foundations, their own intuition, and the professional support they attract.

The six foundations — oxygen, water, movement, stress reduction, toxin removal, lightened diet — are presented as the baseline that prevents most conditions before any specific remedy is considered.

Symptoms are framed as reflections that can point toward unaddressed truth in your life; paying attention to what they point to can reduce the need for them.

Substances interact with the rest of what the body is receiving; a supplement cannot do its work if it is overshadowed by ongoing toxin intake or dehydration.

Self-testing methods like a pendulum depend on how in touch you are with your inner self; if you are not strongly in touch, the reading is not reliable.

## Representative passages

These basic requirements, again, you have all heard them, but let us take a refresher course at this time […]. Number one would simply be this. Oxygen. […] Number two, hydration of the system. […] Number three, you have heard this, of course, many times […]: Exercise. Movement. […] Number four, the reduction of stress in the system. […] Number five, the actual attempt at elimination of whatever toxins may already be in the system. […] Number six, the idea also of lightening of your diet in many ways. […] These six ideas alone will eliminate almost any chance you will ever have of contracting any kind of disease in your life at all.— Bashar, Achieving Perfect Health (achieving-perfect-health#text, excerpted from the opening monologue)

At this timing, we do not address the idea of personal health issues except to refer you to any information we have already given, starting with the idea of the detoxification of the system, and allowing your intuition and imagination to guide you from there. It is now someone else's job to do so.— Bashar, Health Questions And Detoxification (health-questions-and-detoxification#qa-2)

If you are doing things to your body, putting in other toxins, and your body needs this repair in certain places, but the toxins are causing damage in other places, it will go to where the greatest damage is and may never reach the real place you may really need it. […] You are fighting yourself and countering yourself by doing that. […] If you are going to have the coffee, it would be wise to increase your water dosage.— Bashar, Health Msm Vitamin C Coffee (health-msm-vitamin-c-coffee#qa-3)
