# Holographic Universe

Creation is holographic: every single piece contains all the information of the whole. Saying you are "a piece of the whole" does not diminish you, because each and every one of you holds the total sum of All-That-Is, expressed through a particular facet of the multidimensional crystal.

## The laser hologram and Indra's net

Bashar draws the model directly from the physics of a laser hologram. A hologram is created by an interference pattern of overlapping wave fronts; if you cut it in half you do not get two halves — you get two whole holograms, because major portions of the hologram contain the information of the total hologram. "In this way, you can understand that the universe is like unto this idea, holographic; the potential for every point in the universe to express every other point is equal."

The same idea appears in ancient Indian mythology as Indra's net — a net of reflective pearls, each one perfectly spherical and perfectly reflective, picking up an image of every other pearl. "Thus, it can be said that each pearl does contain the sum of the total net." Likewise every being, even though it experiences itself as a fragment, contains the potential of the whole; and because All-That-Is is simultaneous, "potential" is real.

This is why a being in an expanded state can examine a limiting belief from many angles at once: they are "enveloped in the vibration of holographic reflectivity and were able to see the information from different points of view."

## The shattering, not the bang

Bashar reframes the Big Bang as a shattering, not an explosion. The one infinite point did not expand outward; it "remained the same size and shattered into an infinite number of shards within it. […] All those shards are you and me and everything in creation. We are all reflections of each other."

The prime radiant crossing itself over and over is the same idea in another image — each crossing creates a shard, each shard reflects the others, and the same one mirror is seen from infinite angles.

## Why there will always be shards

A puzzle follows: if everything is one, why are there shards at all? Will they ever recombine? Bashar's answer is that the whole one, alone, has no self-awareness. "The one, the whole one, has no self-awareness, no self-recognition because there is nothing, from the one's perspective, there is nothing to reflect back to the one who the one is. The part of the one that is self-aware is the all that is because there is a reflection." So there will always be at least one other shard — otherness is what makes self-knowing possible.

## Each ripple contains the pattern

At the human scale, the holographic principle shows up as overlapping patterns of energy. Bashar describes seeing people "holographically, as a series of three-dimensional ripples coming from central places, like dropping a multitude of stones in water three-dimensionally, rippling, intersecting, reinforcing, diminishing, forming different ideas and constructs as they overlap. It is a language unto itself, a dance of light."

Every shift you make generates fluctuations in the overall field; the field is one fabric, and every local ripple carries the signature of the whole.

## "You are All-That-Is" is not metaphor

A questioner who protested "I feel more like a fragment" was told directly: "You are all that is equally as much as you are a fragment of all that is. Paradox, maybe. But only from your perspective."

The paradox dissolves from the larger view, where every part contains every other and identity is a matter of perspective rather than a fixed quantity.

## Practical implications

Treat other beings as facets of the same holographic whole. Each one reflects information about the whole, including about you; none is incidental.

When you feel stuck in a single point of view, invoke holographic reflectivity. The transcripts describe being "enveloped in the vibration of holographic reflectivity" as a state that lets you see one belief or situation from many angles at once.

Honor difference as the condition for self-knowing. Otherness is not an obstacle to oneness; it is the means by which oneness knows itself, so the holographic view deepens rather than erases individual perspective.

Remember this is metaphysical framing. The holographic model is a teaching analogy drawn from laser physics, Indra's net, and shattered-mirror imagery; it is not a claim about measurable cosmology and does not replace scientific method.

## Representative passages

You can take your hologram, you can cut it in half, and you will have two whole holograms, not half and half. Because to a certain extent, major portions of the hologram contain the information of the total hologram. […] The universe is like unto this idea, holographic; the potential for every point in the universe to express every other point is equal.— Bashar, Hologram (hologram#text)

In your mythology, in the area you call ancient India, you have an analogy that is called Indra's net. […] Each pearl being spherical, 360 degrees, three-dimensionally, and perfectly reflective, will pick up an image of every other pearl in the net. Thus, it can be said that each pearl does contain the sum of the total net.— Bashar, Hologram (hologram#text)

The holographic representation of every single pearl reflecting all the information of every other pearl in the net. […] That's why you were capable of exploring the idea of your negative belief systems in that way, because you were enveloped in the vibration of holographic reflectivity and were able to see the information from different points of view.— Bashar, Holographic Reflectivity Seeing The Information From Other Points Of View (holographic-reflectivity-seeing-the-information-from-other-points-of-view#qa-1)

It's not so much that it exploded into everything that you see, but it's the idea that it simply remained the same size and shattered into an infinite number of shards within it. […] All those shards are you and me and everything in creation. We are all reflections of each other.— Bashar, Shards Of A Shattered Mirror (shards-of-a-shattered-mirror#qa-1)
