The human form itself began as a hybrid: the alteration and hybridization of the original hominid species that evolved on Earth, with further alterations continuing into the present. Bashar's own civilization (Essassani, recently renamed Shakani) is one of the existing hybrid races; there are five already developed, and present-day humanity is the sixth, developing toward full form over roughly a thousand years, after which all six will blend into a seventh unlike anything that has existed before. ## Who the hybrids are, and the status of "the greys" The hybrid children are primarily a combination of the genetics of the present human race and the genetics of what is called "the greys." Bashar is explicit that the greys are not aliens in the usual sense — they are humans from a parallel reality who mutated themselves and lost the ability to reproduce, which is why they draw on human DNA to make new hybrid races. The majority of the genetic mix in the hybrids Earth will encounter is therefore this race (already itself hybridized, with Anunnaki and other extraterrestrial genetics woven in) plus the greys from that parallel reality. A minority of hybrids — particularly those further in the future, like the shapeshifting "cryptics" — also carry genetics from Sirius, Orion, and a few species humanity does not yet know. Many of these hybrids exhibit a physiological third DNA strand. Bashar's teaching is that three is the maximum number of strands possible in physical reality; further "strands" exist only as energetic connections on higher dimensional planes. ## Earth as the sixth race, and the seventh to come The wanderers — loosely connected soul-collectors who touch in across many civilizations — are not the sixth race. Earth itself is the sixth hybrid race, in the process of taking the hybridization it already is and transforming it into something more different. Once Earth completes that transformation, all six hybrid races blend again into a seventh form unlike anything previously in creation, expressed through a very different way of interdimensionality. ## Acclimatization, enclaves, and the role of place When the hybrid children return to Earth, they will not arrive into the general population all at once. Bashar describes specific geographic enclaves — safe places — where they can acclimatize to human reality and where human reality can acclimatize to them. The vibrations at certain energetic vortices on Earth (what some call chakra points) are said to support the planetary balance that makes this mutual acclimatization easier. ## When is a hybrid "your" child? Bashar gives a specific demarcation: a hybrid being is considered "your" child when it carries roughly fifteen percent or more of your genetic material. Above that threshold, the connection is personal and vibrational; below it, the mixture is too diluted to count as your child in that personal sense, even if you still have something to do with it. Through that vibrational-genetic connection, hybrid children can — and, Bashar says, do — use a human parent's perspective as a way to learn human society. Colloquially, "they have to understand your perspective ... walking in your shoes." This can surface in the parent as tastes or interests that feel strongly urgent but are clearly not one's own: a sudden fascination with certain art, an urge to visit particular exhibits, or auditory sensations of being addressed as "mother" or "father." These are framed as the children using the parent as a kind of probe to absorb human experience. They are also described as listening in on Bashar sessions alongside their human parents. ## A claimed unsuccessful development The Atacama account adds a narrow and explicitly exceptional case. Bashar calls the specimen a genetically altered hybrid child left on Earth that lived briefly but could not grow beyond its small size. The account is presented as a claim within the transmission rather than biological evidence. ## Practical implications If you suspect you carry hybrid children, Bashar's framing invites you to relate to them as family on the other side of a vibrational connection — to ask them directly, listen for tastes or sensations that are not your own, and treat surprising new interests as possible points of contact rather than as intrusions. The hybrid-children narrative is metaphysical and contact-related within Bashar's cosmology; nothing in it overrides ordinary medical, legal, or psychological care.
