# Mars

In Bashar's account, Mars is one station in an incarnational sequence that runs through this solar system — and a mirror for the collective readiness of Earth's present culture to look at what is on the surfaces of its own world. Both strands are delivered as attributed cosmology rather than observable fact: the sessions name Mars as a world that was once habitable, that was rendered arid by an asteroid, whose former inhabitants now incarnate on Earth, and whose surface today holds information that the cautious pace of human exploration is, in his framing, a reflection of collective trepidation about confirming.

## Mars as a former inhabited world

Bashar describes Mars as having once been habitable and inhabited. A close pass by an asteroid disrupted the planet's climate and electromagnetic field severely enough to dissipate its atmosphere and evaporate much of its water, although a portion of that water remains locked in the crust.

The timeframe given is "millions of years, but not as long ago as your scientists might think," and the same session adds that the destruction was not caused by the planet's inhabitants.

A parallel account in the solar-system history session describes the same event as "a glancing passing by a large asteroid that ripped the atmosphere away and turned it into the world you now know it to be."

## The incarnational path: Maldek → Mars → Earth

The Mars session situates the planet in an incarnational progression specific to this solar system. Spirits incarnated first on what Bashar calls Maldek — the world whose destruction produced the asteroid belt between Mars and Jupiter — then on Mars when it could hold life, and then on Earth.

When Mars became uninhabitable, the beings who had incarnated there began to incarnate on Earth, first as the naturally evolving hominid species and then, once extraterrestrial genetic material was infused into that indigenous species, as the human-like vessel more conducive to the kind of incarnations those spirits were used to.

The session names a specific irony in this sequence: the asteroid that ended Mars's habitability came from the debris of Maldek — the very world Mars's previous inhabitants had come from.

The destruction of Maldek itself is attributed not to its inhabitants' technology but to the gravitational passage of another body through the system.

The solar-system history session gives the same sequence in compressed form, adding that the Anunnaki injected the genetic material that produced the human form on Earth, and that branches of the hominid species not tampered with evolved naturally into Sasquatch.

## The Mars mission as a mirror of collective readiness

A different questioner asks what is really happening with the Mars mission and what has been found. Bashar's answer is pointedly not a disclosure of artifacts. In his framing, those driving the mission largely know there is a great deal of information to find on the surface, but by landing in a place where there is little to find — symbolized by the slow crawl of a rover — they have deprived themselves of the information. Boldness to look directly at what is there is what remains unchosen, and the cautious pace mirrors collective trepidation about confirming what is really there.

Disclosure, in this framing, is withheld only until the collective is willing to look.

## Are humans on Mars?

A brief exchange asks directly whether any humans from Earth are on Mars now. Bashar's reply concedes a human presence tied to Earth only to a limited degree — "a couple of experiments" — while explicitly cautioning that it is not what the questioner thinks, and not anywhere near the degree many on Earth have said or speculated.

The claim is narrowed and bounded rather than amplified.

## Practical implications

None of this material is offered as instruction, and the most practical move Bashar models is discernment about sources. The Mars material is presented as attributed cosmology from a channeled source, not as verified astronomy or history; the sessions themselves narrow or correct popular speculation rather than inflate it.

A learner drawn to this material can take it as a mirror for the question Bashar explicitly poses through the rover image: where, in one's own life, is caution being chosen over actually looking at what is there, and what would have to change to choose boldness instead.

The incarnational sequence (Maldek → Mars → Earth) is offered as part of the same body of material and is not something the learner can verify through outer evidence. It is best used, in Bashar's own framing, the way all of his permission slips are used: take what is useful as a reflective tool, leave the rest, and never let any of it override discernment or professional guidance.

## Representative passages

Mars, as you call it, was a habitable planet at one time… There was a close pass by what you would call an asteroid that disrupted the climate and electromagnetic field of the planet to such a degree as to cause the dissipation of its atmosphere, the dissipation of its electromagnetic field, and the evaporation of much of its water, although much of it also remains locked in the crust.— Bashar, Msbecka3 Mars (msbecka3-mars#qa-1)

The idea is that there is a great deal of information to find on the surface of Mars, but one of the reasons to some degree that they were allowed to land is because they actually deprived themselves of the information by landing in a place where there's not much to find… Eventually they will be perhaps bold enough to acknowledge, let's find out what's really there. Some of them know, but the majority are really afraid to confirm.— Bashar, Baggage Claim (baggage-claim#qa-7)

There have been a couple of experiments, but it's not what you think. And it isn't anywhere to the degree that many people on your planet have said or speculated.— Bashar, Are Some Humans On Mars (are-some-humans-on-mars#qa-1)
