# Non-Interference

Non-interference is the standing policy Bashar attributes to the civilizations that approach your world: they will share perspective, reflect your own power back to you, and respond to genuine invitations, but they will not impose their presence, override the choices your society makes about its own evolution, or take responsibility for the reality you collectively create. Bashar presents this as a "hands-off" stance drawn from thousands of prior contacts, not as indifference — its purpose is to leave a developing civilization free to make its own decisions and become ready for open contact on its own timing.

## A hands-off policy toward collective evolution

The framing Bashar returns to across sessions is that your planet is yours to create with, and assisting civilizations will not step in front of the choices you make for your society's overall direction.

He describes this explicitly as a "prime or non-interference directive" and as a "hands-off policy with many things having to do with the evolution of your society," including the long-shared popular image of a planetary "quarantine." The quarantine, in his language, is simply your word for that directive: a recognition that you have the right to evolve as you desire, and that others will not interfere with the choices you are making in your own evolution.

Bashar extends the same principle to individual disclosure. Asked to identify a questioner's counterpart in another concurrent incarnation, he refuses on the ground that naming the person would be intervening in a process the questioner needs to discover on their own.

The principle is consistent: when revealing something would short-circuit a being's own process of growth, the information is withheld even when it is available.

## Why contact is paced to readiness rather than arrival

Non-interference is also why open contact is paced slowly. Bashar's position is that the very presence of a higher-frequency civilization can force suppressed contents to the surface of a being's consciousness before that being is willing to face them — which is the actual source of much of the fear attributed to encounters themselves.

When someone reports having pushed a contact away in fear, Bashar treats that as part of the barometer by which he determines whether the person is ready for more contact, not as a failure.

He is direct that assisting beings are not here as saviors or rescuers; they will not accept power handed over to them, because that would undermine the self-empowerment the entire interaction is meant to reflect.

The "end of the quarantine" is therefore not an arrival date. Bashar states plainly that the end of the non-interference directive does not mean ships will land everywhere the next day. It means only that the assisting civilizations' own laws will no longer prevent interaction; from that point on, they take their cue solely from you — from when your collective is truly ready for more open contact.

## A corollary at the personal level: offering options without imposing them

Bashar applies the same logic to interpersonal and political life. Unconditional love, in his formulation, means sharing options with everyone while allowing them to choose whatever they choose — offering an opportunity without withholding it and without imposing it.

He pairs this with a parallel-realities framing: you never actually change another person or the world; you change yourself and shift to a parallel Earth that already reflects the vibration you have chosen.

Read together, the two teachings explain why non-interference is not passivity: it is the discipline of expressing your own frequency fully, living as the example, and leaving choice — including the choice to remain where one is — to the other.

## Practical implications

The transcripts frame non-interference as a posture a learner can notice and practice in ordinary life, not as a doctrine about extraterrestrials only.

Treat your own process as yours to discover. Bashar's refusal to identify a counterpart models the value of not short-circuiting someone's growth with information they were meant to find for themselves.

Where you are tempted to step in and "help" by removing a struggle, consider whether you would be removing the very pressure that matures them.

Offer options, then allow the choice. In his interpersonal teaching, the positive form of non-interference is sharing an option without insisting on the outcome; unconditional love includes both the offer and the allowing.

Lead by example rather than by control. Bashar locates the lever of change in your own state of being, not in another's intention; when you change yourself, you experience a reality already reflective of that change.

When fear arises around contact, look to self-alignment. Rather than trying to force or monitor contact, Bashar directs the questioner to live their life to the fullest and act on their highest excitement — being the person with whom the appointment for contact was made.

These implications preserve Bashar's standing boundaries: they are not medical, legal, or financial direction, and they do not authorize staying in unsafe situations. They describe an orientation toward consent, autonomy, and self-discovery that the transcripts consistently model.

## Representative passages

The idea is that we recognize that you have your right to evolve as you so desire, and we simply will not interfere with certain things that would in any way, shape, or form interfere with the choices that you're making to evolve in a certain way. We have a hands-off policy with many things having to do with the evolution of your society.— Bashar, Prime Or Non interference Directive And [2012] (prime-or-non-interference-directive-and-2012#qa-1)

It does not mean that spaceships will be landing everywhere the next day. What it means is that our laws will no longer prevent us from interacting with you. We will take our cue solely from you, solely from when you are truly ready for more open contact.— Bashar, Prime Or Non interference Directive And [2012] (prime-or-non-interference-directive-and-2012#qa-1)

The idea of any new civilization that is in an evolutionary stage where it does not necessarily express an absolute conscious recognition that there are other civilizations it could communicate with is left alone. The idea of our existence is not forced upon them.— Bashar, Foreign Relations (foreign-relations#text)

Even if there were, I would not tell you. Because we would be intervening in a process you need to discover on your own.— Bashar, Counterparts Living Simultaneous Lives In The Present (counterparts-living-simultaneous-lives-in-the-present#qa-3)

Unconditional love means you share options with everyone and give them the opportunity to choose something that might be more representative of being in alignment with their true natural self, and at the same time, unconditional love means allowing them to choose whatever they choose.— Bashar, Change Yourself And You Change To A Parallel Earth (change-yourself-and-you-change-to-a-parallel-earth#qa-2)
