# On Intuition

We wish to speak with you this day about intuition — and the first thing we will do, as we always do, is dismantle the wall you have built between it and its two supposed opposites: instinct and intellect. Your society has polarized itself between the scientific and the mystical, each side certain the other is its enemy. We tell you plainly: they are not enemies. They are simply variations, or degrees, of the same consciousness, the same energy, applied at different depths of focus. What you call instinct in the animal you love is the same consciousness you use when you sit and reason something through with your intellect — only the compaction, the degree of focus, differs. Blend them, and you lose nothing. You will not have your intuition at the cost of your reason, nor your reason at the cost of your intuition. You will have both.

## It is physics, not mysticism

We are emphatic on this point, so allow us to be direct: this is physics, not philosophy, and certainly not superstition. You are, each of you, like a little antenna. When you act on your highest excitement, you place yourself on a specific frequency — and, precisely as a radio receiver tuned to your favorite channel does not also receive every other channel at once, you become sensitive to the information that is actually relevant to you and no other. Practiced this way, intuition stops being a vague feeling you either have or do not have. It becomes a compass needle. It will point, reliably, toward what is true for you — because the vibration you give off is the vibration, and the information, you get back. That is all this is. It is not magic. It is mechanics.

The vibration you give off is the vibration, and the information, you get back.

## Do not manufacture a separation that is not there

We have watched many of you struggle to distinguish your intuition from a subtle thread of analytical thought, worried you might mistake one for the other and be led astray. We ask you: if you genuinely cannot tell the difference, what difference does it make? In insisting there must be a gap between them, you may be requesting the very blockage you believe you already have — a blockage that, until you asked for it, was not there at all. Having them blended is the integration you are looking for. Wishing to see them kept separate is the limitation you are otherwise trying to escape.

> — Accepting Yourself (qa-3), [Source](https://sassani.app/source-transmissions/accepting-yourself)

Insisting on a gap between intuition and intellect requests the very blockage you fear.

## The circuit is not complete until you act

We will also tell you what we tell every one of you who meditates beautifully and then wonders why nothing changes: meditation, desire, feeling, imagination — these are all excellent tools for arriving at the proper state. But if your intention is to pick a coin up off the floor, you may meditate on it as long as you like, and the coin will still be on the floor. Reach over. Pick it up. Do it the simplest way you are able to do it — that is the whole instruction. Receiving is not the finish line; it is the starting gun. Physical action is what completes the circuit and lets your physical reality respond to you at all.

> — The Other Side (qa-6), [Source](https://sassani.app/source-transmissions/the-other-side)

Reach over. Pick it up. Do it the simplest way you are able to do it — that is the whole instruction.

This is also why we do not distinguish, in practice, between a "deliberate conscious decision" and "trusting your instincts." If you decide consciously what is true for you, and you go for it, you are already doing the same thing as trusting an instinct — you are simply calling it by a different name. Instincts, as you know them, take no time at all to decide; you allow the thing to be obvious, and you act on it accordingly. Give your deliberate choices that same immediacy, and you have lost nothing by naming the process differently.

## What we ask you to do with this

Stop treating intuition and intellect as opposing forces you must referee. Get yourself on the frequency of your own excitement first — reception follows naturally from that, not the other way around. And once you receive something, act on it in the simplest form available to you; do not let the receiving alone stand in for the doing. It really is that simple.

Reception follows frequency; action completes the circuit.

What is the simplest action available to you right now — and what would it mean to take it before the day ends?
