As the energy is now sensed, the highest probability for open contact on Earth is sometime in the window of your years 2025 to 2033. ## The Yayel (Shalanaia) first Open contact will not begin with Bashar's own civilization. The first civilization likely to make open contact is called the Yayel — in Bashar's ancient language, the Shalanaia. They are a hybrid civilization similar to Bashar's, but more closely connected genetically to humanity, and they will be the first to interact openly. ## Why not just land The recurring question — "why don't you just land and get it over with?" — has a specific answer. Bashar's analogy: would you want to land in an insane asylum where all the inmates had guns? A different state of vibration is representative of a different state of psychology. When belief systems remain buried, unexamined, and unintegrated, interacting with a civilization that is more highly integrated would be like taking a very slow turning gear and a high-speed turning gear and jamming them together before they synchronize. The higher vibration would overwhelm you to the point that it would force the unintegrated issues to the surface and, in many cases, cause psychotic shock. The restraint is therefore not avoidance — it is protection. Mass contact before collective readiness would harm the very civilization it seeks to meet. ## The 2012 quarantine and what changed Bashar describes 2012 as the end of the galactic quarantine of Earth — the end of a non-interference directive. After that date there is no longer any law on the extraterrestrial side preventing contact; from that point on, everything about timing is up to humanity. The end of the quarantine is not the next-day landing of hundreds of ships; it is the removal of the external barrier, so that the only remaining variable is human readiness. ## Prediction vs. sensing A consistent caveat: Bashar states there is no such thing as a prediction of the future, only a sensing of the energy that exists at the time the prediction is made.
