# Pluto

Bashar speaks of Pluto less as an astronomical object than as a threshold. In his framing Pluto marks the limit of this solar system's "cradle" and acts as a transitional gate from that cradle toward galactic energy and species maturation; on the far side of the gate lies a different relationship to eternity. The teaching draws on the river-crossing imagery already attached to Pluto in Earth's mythology and reads it as a real marker of a species-scale transition rather than as a story about a dwarf planet.

## The river-gate of the solar system

In The Cleansing Flame, Bashar defines Pluto directly. "Pluto represents the limit of your solar system, an absolutely transitional gate from the cradle and womb of Earth's solar system to a true transition toward galactic energy and true maturation."

The imagery is explicitly mythological and explicitly taken seriously: Pluto "truly represents, as your mythology tells you, a river across which on the other side lies all of eternity and true maturation as a species."

The session also gives Pluto a structural analogue. The crossing "is very similar to what you call your number 13."

Pluto, on this view, occupies the same threshold position in the solar system that 13 occupies in Bashar's broader numerological teaching — a transitional boundary that, once crossed, opens a new scale of being.

## The Pluto–Charon relationship

Pluto is treated together with its companion, Charon (transcribed in one session as "Sharon"). The Cleansing Flame session states that "there is a very unique relationship between Pluto and Charon electromagnetically that you have yet to discover."

The Artifacts deepens the parallel by reading the Pluto–Charon pair as kinship with the Earth–Moon pair: Pluto and Charon exhibit "a similar relationship to the Earth and the Moon in the sense of being another body whose moon is a sizeable proportion of the planet it orbits."

The kinship is presented as the reason there is "connection here and similarity even in the differences that exist between you."

## The final artifact at the edge

The Artifacts places a "final pyramid" on Pluto and reads the journey outward through the solar system as a sequence of markers left for humanity to rediscover itself. "The final pyramid is on your dwarf planet of Pluto at the edge of your system. And thus by the time you reach that one and understand its mysteries, you will have truly become a full-fledged member of the interstellar alliance."

Arriving at Pluto is identified with a change of state so great that the options available after it would "seem like magic" from the present vantage, because the species will have changed by then in ways that make new choices available.

The same passage turns the edge into a paradox. At Pluto "you find the final artifact at the edge of your system, and you realize that your system actually has no edge and no end," and that it continues on to the next star with other worlds beyond this mark.

Crossing the gate that Pluto represents is thus what reveals that there was never an outer boundary — only the end of the cradle.

## Galactic adulthood

The far side of the Pluto crossing is described as species adulthood. The Artifacts frames the step beyond Pluto as leaving the cradle behind: "you take your first step out to the stars and leave the cradle behind so that you now become the adult you were meant to be. A galactic adult, homo-galacticus."

This is consistent with The Cleansing Flame's "true maturation as a species" on the other side of the river.

Pluto, in both sessions, is the marker at which humanity's identity is recast from a species of one solar system to a species in relation with the galaxy.

## Practical implications

Read Pluto as a threshold marker, not a fixed boundary. Bashar's teaching treats the Pluto crossing as the edge of the cradle; what lies beyond is a new scale of relationship (galactic adulthood), not a wall or an end.

Recognize the Pluto–Charon kinship with Earth–Moon. The similar proportionality is presented as a real connection that invites comparison and reflection, not as coincidence.

Use the mythology you already have. Bashar engages Pluto's river-god mythology as a partially accurate cultural memory of an actual threshold, which models how the teaching treats inherited mythological symbols generally.

These implications describe orientation toward a metaphysical and civilizational symbol. They make no factual claim about Pluto's physical properties that supersedes observation and are not astronomical, navigational, or scientific guidance.

## Representative passages

Pluto represents the limit of your solar system, an absolutely transitional gate from the cradle and womb of Earth's solar system to a true transition toward galactic energy and true maturation.— Bashar, The Cleansing Flame (the-cleansing-flame#qa-10)

It truly represents, as your mythology tells you, a river across which on the other side lies all of eternity and true maturation as a species. It represents the transitional gate. […] It is very similar to what you call your number 13.— Bashar, The Cleansing Flame (the-cleansing-flame#qa-10)

Pluto and Karan, exhibiting a similar relationship to the Earth and the Moon in the sense of being another body whose moon is a sizeable proportion of the planet it orbits. So there is kinship here and connection here and similarity even in the differences that exist between you.— Bashar, The Artifacts (the-artifacts#text)

Upon Pluto. Do you find the final artifact at the edge of your system, and you realize that your system actually has no edge and no end?— Bashar, The Artifacts (the-artifacts#text)
