# Relevance

Everything is possible, but the real question is whether it is relevant to the theme you chose to explore — so what you actually experience is filtered by relevance, not by possibility. You perceive only what is relevant to your process in the moment: information or perceptions that do not resonate can be set aside without being invalidated. When others report perceptions they say are about you, the greater relevance may in fact be theirs — you may simply be the mirror and catalyst for a reading they are doing for themselves — so relevance is judged case by case, and the measure is your own resonance.

## Relevance, not possibility, is the filter of experience

Bashar frames the practical question of life almost never as "is it possible?" or "is it real?" Because all that is, is, and anything you can imagine is somewhere, somehow, on some level, a real experience — there is no such thing as a non-reality. The operative question is "is it relevant for you?" You decide by your vibration which version of Earth, which history, which perception you will experience, and you shift billions of times per second between parallel realities; at any moment you experience the one that is most in alignment with your chosen vibration based on your belief systems. Relevance is the filter that turns infinite possibility into the single thread of experienced life.

This means a perception or a body of information can be entirely real and still have little or no relevance for you. Whether a hypnotized subject is depicting "reality" or "a dream," whether a channeled system is "accurate," whether someone else's parallel reality is "actual" — Bashar consistently redirects these questions toward the degree of relevance to your own reality.

## Accuracy versus relevance

A recurring teaching is that accuracy is not the bottom line; relevance is. Bashar will not declare a body of material accurate or inaccurate for someone else, because something that is accurate for you may still not be accurate for someone else. The useful question is whether the information is relevant for you, and you are the only one who can answer that. This does not dismiss accuracy — it relocates the criterion from an impossible objective standard to the living, personal measure of what serves your process right now.

## The path of least resistance and the timing of information

Relevance also governs how and when information reaches you. Psychic functioning and intuition follow the path of least resistance, like water or electricity: information arrives in the form most available and most relevant to the moment, not through the most impressive channel. There is no point using a psychic route to learn what you can simply ask the person across from you.

The same principle applies to the timing of learning. Take what you are capable of absorbing; once you absorb it, you will be capable of going to another area with it. You are given what you need at any given moment, and until you absorb what you are given, it makes no sense to be given more. Pushing for more information before acting on what you have actually slows the process; the paradox is that when you relax, information can be processed more quickly.

## You may be the mirror, not the subject

When someone reports a psychic perception about you, the greater degree of relevance may be theirs, not yours. Because they have seen you and are responding to you, the act of perceiving may belong to their process; you may be the catalyst and the mirror that allows them to do the reading they are actually doing for themselves. The irony is that even when they think they are reading you, they may be reading themselves through you. You judge this case by case, and the only reliable measure is your own sense of whether it feels resonant and relevant right now.

## Prediction is present relevance, not future certainty

Because relevance is measured in the present, Bashar treats all "prediction" as a reading of the energy that exists at the moment the prediction is made, not a look into a separate future. Whether you will meet a counterpart, whether a particular reality will manifest, depends on the relevance of that outcome to the theme you are exploring — and the energy can change. You create the future and the past from the present, so a present-moment reading is the only kind there is.

## Reflection is relevance made visible

The mirror nature of physical reality is the outer expression of the same principle. Physical reality functions like a mirror, reflecting back the vibration you put out through your beliefs, emotions, and thought patterns; the reflection is not "out there" but is a feedback mechanism showing you what is currently relevant to who you have chosen to be. What you experience is always reflective of the frequency you hold, which is why changing the inner state changes what the mirror can show you.

## Practical implications

Test incoming information by resonance, not by claims of authority or accuracy. When something does not feel relevant in the moment, the transcripts' practical instruction is to let it slide for now without invalidating it: "thank you, it doesn't resonate with me right now, but I will keep it in mind."

Act on what you have before chasing more. Pushing for more information before absorbing and acting on what you have been given is self-defeating; relax and let information unfold in appropriate timing.

When someone reads you psychically, consider that the reading may be for them. The case-by-case check protects you from taking on board perceptions whose real relevance is to the perceiver's process, not yours.

Treat your experienced reality as chosen, not imposed. Because you gravitate to the version of reality that matches your vibration, the way to change what is relevant to you is to change your definitions, beliefs, and state. This is a metaphysical framing of experience and is not a substitute for medical, psychological, legal, or financial care.

## Representative passages

Then it's not relevant for you at that moment. Even if they are accurately perceiving something, you may not perceive it if it's not relevant for you in the particular moment of your process… The only real measure to go by is if it doesn't feel relevant for you right now, then just let it slide for the moment.— Bashar, What Parallel Realities Are Relevant You Will Experience (what-parallel-realities-are-relevant-you-will-experience#qa-1)

All realities are real… Anything you can imagine has some relevance and some reality somewhere. The question isn't, is it real? The question is, is it relevant for you? And you are the one to decide whether it is or not.— Bashar, Parallel Earths No One Version Or One History Of Earth (parallel-earths-no-one-version-or-one-history-of-earth#qa-1)

Anything you can imagine is in some way, shape, or form a reality. The question is not, is it real; the question is, is it relevant to your reality?— Bashar, In Hypnosis What Is The Difference Between Reality And A Dream (in-hypnosis-what-is-the-difference-between-reality-and-a-dream#qa-1)

Anything is possible. What I'm saying, the question is not, is it possible? The question is, is it probable? Is it relevant?— Bashar, Fractals Golden Spirals Duality Polarity (fractals-golden-spirals-duality-polarity#qa-4)
