# Sacredness

In these transcripts sacredness is not a property reserved for special objects, places, or rituals; it is treated as the base condition of everything, including oneself. The practical question the sessions answer is how to actually contact that quality — and the answer is consistently about attention, location in the body, and the willingness to treat one's own being and actions as sacred.

## Everything is sacred; arrangement can concentrate it

When asked about a so-called sacred object from Sirius, Bashar's first move is to flatten the category: "Everything is sacred." The concession is that "some things can, in some ways, by their arrangement, by their presentation, be representative in a more concentrated way of the concept of sacredness, but everything is sacred." The object's noticeable effect is explained as energy that has been infused into it — and the same effect is available to anyone with the predilection and connection, with any object: "if you will simply take another object and touch it to that object, it will have the same frequency." The passage locates sacredness in the relationship and the infusion, not in the object.

## The hands as the locus of attention

The most specific practice is given to a questioner who feels a sensation of sacredness and asks how to become more open and receptive. The instruction is to remember the sensation, then "Focus it in your hand. Your hands are sacred. And therefore, anything they touch is sacred. Anything they do is sacred." Attention is trained on the hands and on what they are doing, so that the sacredness is contacted in present activity rather than only in an inward mood: "Your attention will be there. In the sacredness of doing and the doing of the sacredness of the sacred."

## You are sacred; where you are is sacred

A questioner in the geometric-energy-shells session asks whether a healing process that depends on a "sacred vortex area" can be replicated elsewhere. The answer is direct: "Yes. You can create your own sacred energy because all of you are sacred. If you start to think of yourselves that way, you will know that where you are is sacred and that your energy is sacred and that your creations are sacred and you will be able to create it." Crystals, grids, or other tools are permitted but secondary: "as long as you understand the energy is sacred, then the energy will be there."

The Hawaii session makes the same move with crop circles — they are not visited because the formations themselves hold a foreign sacredness, but because "the sacred space that is created with them... puts you in touch with your own sacredness." The formations function as a language "speaking to yourself to wake yourselves up to your own sacredness, your own magic, your own mystery as a co-creator."

## Sacredness and the elements

In two different sessions a chant ("El Kalimome") is discussed as a way of honoring what one questioner calls "the sacredness of all," and in The Day Of Reflection the same questioner links it to a text that "speaks of the sacredness of water, air, earth, and fire." Sacredness in this register is an orientation toward the elements as living expressions of All-That-Is, not a ritual requirement.

In Shards Of A Shattered Mirror a questioner working with an incarnational connection to ancient Egypt is told, "use that connection, use that sacredness. Use that priestess energy that you're connecting to in that incarnation to boost yourself up." Sacredness here is an active power-source the person can draw on to stop denying her own being — paired with the assurance that being fully herself will not make her "out of control" or egotistical.

## Practical implications

The transcripts suggest a small set of orientation shifts. Treat your own being, your energy, and your creations as sacred, and notice where you have outsourced sacredness to special objects or places — those can concentrate the quality, but they do not originate it. To contact sacredness in daily activity, place attention on the hands and on what they are doing. When drawn to a place, object, or chant, use it as a mirror that returns you to your own sacredness rather than as a source you lack.

These orientations are contemplative; they are not medical, psychotherapeutic, or ritual directions, and they do not require any particular practice or tool.

## Representative passages

Remember... that sensation of sacredness. Focus it in your hand. Your hands are sacred. And therefore, anything they touch is sacred. Anything they do is sacred... Your attention will be there. In the sacredness of doing and the doing of the sacredness of the sacred.— Bashar, Breaking The Seals (breaking-the-seals#qa-5)

Everything is sacred... Some things can, in some ways, by their arrangement, by their presentation, be representative in a more concentrated way of the concept of sacredness, but everything is sacred.— Bashar, Animals And Extinction (animals-and-extinction#text)

You can create your own sacred energy because all of you are sacred. If you start to think of yourselves that way, you will know that where you are is sacred and that your energy is sacred and that your creations are sacred and you will be able to create it.— Bashar, Geometric Energy Shells3 (geometric-energy-shells3#text)

The sacred space that is created with them... puts you in touch with your own sacredness... a language of you speaking to yourself to wake yourselves up to your own sacredness, your own magic, your own mystery as a co-creator.— Bashar, An Evening With Bashar In Hawaii (an-evening-with-bashar-in-hawaii#text)
