# Seasons

Bashar uses the planet's seasonal cycle as a symbolic mirror for inner rhythms of consciousness, rather than as an external force that acts upon you. The teaching draws primarily on one evening framed around your month of October, where the season is read as an invitation to gather within, review what the active months revealed, and choose what to carry forward. The planetary axis tilt is treated as a metaphor your civilization has arranged for itself, not as a mechanism that creates your inner state.

## Autumn as going within

The session describes autumn as "a gathering together, a going within, a nurturing energy of introspection" — a time to harbor the new discoveries you have made about yourself and to review them around what Bashar calls the inner hearth of your being.

The falling leaves are read as pages in the book of life you have written, and the season as an early hibernation that is not inactivity but a turn of mentality and consciousness toward assessment.

You sort what you have gathered into what you prefer to carry into the new year and what you prefer to release into the concept of the past.

Essassani is offered as a contrast and a freeing reminder: Bashar's world has little seasonal change because its axis tilt is not as strong, so the rhythm of introspection is understood as a chosen inner cadence rather than something bound to an outer season.

## All Hallows Eve and Atlantis

The same session names your three-day span of All Hallows Eve, November 1st and November 2nd as a symbolic commemoration of the sinking of Atlantis — the night before, the day of, and the day after.

This is presented as mythological remembrance, not as a historical claim the learner must accept. The function of the commemoration, in Bashar's framing, is to face what you fear most within you: the opening of the dimensions between physical and non-physical, the expansion of awareness, and the recognition that the reality you experience is the one you create through your strongest beliefs or your strongest fear.

The autumn teaching is therefore continuous with Bashar's broader theme that you create your reality through your definitions.

## The thinning veils and dream reality

Autumn is also described as a season of communion with spirit, when the veils thin and a greater blending of the non-physical and the physical becomes possible, so that upon your birthing into a new year you step through the gate as a more whole description of yourself.

The dream state receives more direct exploration in this season; Bashar speaks of the exploration of many states of dream awareness and of allowing more blending between dream reality and physical waking reality.

This pairs with the evening's later teaching that all realities exist simultaneously and you perceive the one you are on the frequency of, so the dreamer who awakens with no memory may simply have been in communication with another level of consciousness their mentality has not yet assimilated.

## You are the season of change

The session closes by turning the season back upon the listener: "You are the season of change. You are the autumn of change. You are the threshold of manifestation."

The teaching refuses to locate the power of the season in the season itself; the season is a mirror for the brightness of the flame you are, and Bashar reminds the gathering that the interaction exists for the validation of the listener, not of the channel.

## Practical implications

Treat autumn (or any season of withdrawal in your life) as a chosen inner cadence of review, not as a low-energy state you must wait out. Use it to sort what you have discovered about yourself into what to carry forward and what to release.

When fear surfaces in this season — including fear of contact with other levels of consciousness — examine the definition behind the fear rather than treating the experience as inherently negative. All feelings, in Bashar's framing, are reactions to something you already believe to be true.

If you awaken from sleep with no memory and a sense of an altered night, do not stop to analyze and block the flow; keep acting on what excites you and allow the information to surface through synchronicity, déjà vu, and spontaneous insight.

Remember that the symbolic frame of a season is your civilization's own creation; a world with little seasonal variation still chooses its rhythm of introspection, and so can you.

## Representative passages

Your autumn time represents a gathering together, a going within, a nurturing energy of introspection. The falling of many of your leaves, pages in your books of life that you have written. [...] Your autumn time, as you all have created mythologically, is recognized as the time of communion with spirit.— Bashar, Autumn (autumn#qa-1)

The commemoration time is the three-day span you call all-hollows-Eve. [...] The all-hollows Eve and November 1st, November 2nd of your timing represents symbolically the night before the day of and the day after the sinking of Atlantis. [...] That is why the idea of all Hallows Eve represents many aspects of facing that which you fear most within you.— Bashar, Autumn (autumn#qa-1)

You are the season of change. You are the autumn of change. You are the threshold of manifestation.— Bashar, Autumn (autumn#text)
