# Simultaneity

In Bashar's teaching, everything exists here and now. There is only one moment in all of existence, and what you call past, present, and future are simultaneously coexisting experiences viewed from different frequency domains — not a line stretching behind and ahead of you. The appearance of a linear flow of time is an artifact of consciousness shifting through static, already-coexisting parallel-reality frames billions of times per second. This is not presented as a metaphor: the claim is that every life, every event, and every variation of every person is occurring right now, each on its own frequency track, and that recognizing this is the key to shifting deliberately to the reality you prefer.

## One moment, many channels

The recurring analogy is a television set. At any given moment, hundreds of programs are broadcasting simultaneously; you only perceive the channel you are tuned to, and changing the channel does not destroy the other programs — they continue whether you are watching them or not. Bashar says physical reality operates the same way: "all the lives, all the experiences are going on right now," and which one you experience depends on the frequency you inhabit. What you call "the past" is a coexisting track at a different frequency; so is "the future." You are not moving along a timeline so much as tuning through a spectrum that is all present at once.

This is why Bashar treats déjà vu as a genuine glimpse of the underlying structure rather than a glitch: in déjà vu you briefly experience the timelessness that is always the case, feeling an event as already known because, on the simultaneity view, it is.

## Change as shifting through static frames

The session Simultaneity Of Existence grounds the idea in a specific mechanism. Each parallel reality is "a frozen snapshot, just a frozen moment" — in and of itself motionless. The appearance of movement, time, and space arises because consciousness shifts through these frames "literally billions of times per second." Even the act of raising an arm is not one arm moving through one space; it is you shifting through billions of near-identical realities in which the arm occupies slightly different positions, fast enough to produce the illusion of continuous motion.

How Is The Illusion Of Time Experienced On Essassani Bashar 2.0 states the same principle from the Essassani vantage point: each frame has no movement in it, and "the only way you create the illusion of movement is by running those frames past the projector." Bashar describes his civilization as one that has "learned to skip frames," which is precisely why this conversation can occur between a being you would call "future" and a channel you would call "present" — the two lives coexist now.

Because you are already shifting automatically, the work is never to learn how to shift — you are "an automatic creator" doing it billions of times a second whether you know it or not. The work is to become aware that you are shifting, so that you can imbue your frequency with more of the reality you prefer and make bigger leaps with less continuity between one frame and the next.

## Simultaneous lives, not sequential reincarnation

A direct consequence is that reincarnation is reframed. Bashar is blunt: "No one has ever had a past life. Reincarnation is not re-incarnation; it is multiple simultaneous incarnations." Each life is its own discrete person, existing right now on its own parallel track, connected to every other life through a shared oversoul. The "you" reading this was never those other people and will never become them; they are them, and you are you, and you all coexist. What you call a "past-life memory" is therefore a present-time cross-connection — you are drawing information from a simultaneously existing life because that information serves the theme you are exploring now, even as that life draws from yours.

The practical reframing is that the question "where do I come from?" is less useful than "to what other lives am I creating a present connection that allows me to download information that serves me here?" The cross-connection is made from the present, for present purposes; the experience in this life was not caused by a past life, and will not cause a future one.

## One thing, not just one moment

The session Theres Only One Thing And One Moment In Creation pushes the teaching a step further: there is also only one thing. The "prime radiant" is a single particle — because it is the only thing in existence, it has nothing to relate to, has no mass, and can move at infinite speed, which means it can be everywhere at once and so appear as every particle, every body, every chair, every star. On this view, you are quite literally the same one thing as the other person, the wall, and the distant star — all of it the prime radiant experienced from different points of view.

This is why the illusion of separation is not something to be eradicated entirely: without it there would be no individual experience at all. Even in full realization of oneness, "you will always experience yourself as you." The point is not to abolish the boundary but to know it as a chosen focus within a field that is, at root, one.

## A candidate fifth law

The monologue proposing a Fifth Law places this idea at the foundation of Bashar's metaphysics. The existing four laws — you exist; the one is the all, the all are the one; what you put out is what you get back; everything changes except the first three laws — already imply that everything exists here and now. But Bashar's civilization is debating whether to break that implication out as its own second law ("everything is here and now"), because some civilizations they interact with grasp the laws more readily when simultaneity is stated explicitly rather than left implicit. The proposal is put to the audience as an invitation into an Association of Worlds discussion — not because a vote is needed, but because the reasoning process itself enriches the interstellar alliance's understanding.

## Practical implications

Within this teaching, several orientations follow:

You do not need to learn to shift; you need to become aware that you already are. The issue is never acquiring the mechanism of change — it is already innate, billions of times per second — but aiming it deliberately by inhabiting the frequency of the reality you prefer.

Living in the present loosens space and time. Fixating negatively on past and future tightens the illusion; resting in the present makes space-time more "malleable, plastic and slippery" and synchronicity more frequent, because synchronicity is space-time showing you that everything is connected.

Reframe "past-life" curiosity as present-time connection. The useful question is not who was I? but what present connection am I making, and does it serve the theme I am exploring now?

Use imagination to feel oneness without trying to abolish individuality. Imagination is the conduit between higher mind and physical mind; mocking up and physically acting out the reality you prefer completes the circuit and trains the body to its vibration, while still preserving the experience of being you.

These are orientations toward perception and state of being. They make no empirical claim about another person's history and do not authorize ignoring ordinary consequences, planning, or agreements.

## Representative passages

There is only now, there is only one moment in existence, and everything that happens happens in that one moment. What you call past and future are simultaneously coexisting experiences on a different frequency domain... The whole concept of change itself is actually the act of shifting to multiple simultaneously coexisting parallel realities again and again, literally billions of times per second.— Bashar, Simultaneity Of Existence (simultaneity-of-existence#qa-1)

You only have this life. No one has ever had a past life. Reincarnation is not re-incarnation; it is multiple simultaneous incarnations. You are you, and you've always been this you; other lives are those people, and they have always been those people. You cross-connect through the over-soul.— Bashar, Simultaneity Of Existence (simultaneity-of-existence#qa-2)

There really is only one moment in creation, just one moment. What appears to you to be different moments is actually the same moment but from a different point of view. There is also only one thing in creation — all of it, just one thing, experiencing itself as a multitude of things.— Bashar, Theres Only One Thing And One Moment In Creation (theres-only-one-thing-and-one-moment-in-creation#qa-3)

Each frame has no movement in it. The only way you create the illusion of movement is by running those frames past the projector... By shifting your consciousness through those parallel-reality frames billions of times per second, you create the side effect you call time and space: the illusion of movement.— Bashar, How Is The Illusion Of Time Experienced On Essassani Bashar 2.0 (how-is-the-illusion-of-time-experienced-on-essassani-bashar20#qa-1)

The real question is not where do I come from, but to what other lives am I creating a present connection that allows me to download information from those other simultaneously concurrent lives that serves me here, even as those other simultaneously autonomous lives are downloading information from my experience that serves them.— Bashar, Cosmic Reunion (cosmic-reunion#qa-4)
