# Simultaneous Incarnation

What is commonly called reincarnation, Bashar teaches, is actually simultaneous parallel incarnation — many lives happening all at once, right now, as extensions of one oversoul. The appearance of one life after another in a sequence is an artifact of the linear time-frame in which humans experience physical reality, not the actual structure of existence. Bashar offers a sharper term — "simultaneous, multiple incarnation" — and a memorable abbreviation: SPI, "spies," as in "you have spies in many realities."

## Why "reincarnation" misleads

The word reincarnation only makes sense inside a linear frame of reference — "the idea of a before, a middle, and an after. So if something was, and it becomes again, then it must re-become."

That frame is not wrong, but it is only one point of view — the view from within a linear time dimension. From the multidimensional perspective Bashar points to, all of your so-called past lives, future lives, and alternate present lives are going on at the same time, right now, simultaneously parallel.

Reincarnation is therefore an "outmoded definition"; what you actually have are incarnations of the oversoul, of which you are one extension.

## Eternal and infinite, therefore simultaneous

Bashar grounds the teaching in the nature of being: if you are truly eternal and infinite, then the limited scope you experience in this one life is "but a fragment of the total being that you are." If you are infinite yet experience only this one reality, then you must have imposed a compartmentalization on the total being you are — broken yourself into different frequencies so you can focus on one specific reality at a time. "Without that ability there would be no ongoing creation; it would be static, stagnant."

This is also why the number of lives needed for "mastery" is not a fixed rule: some may give themselves a million lifetimes, others may choose one, many something in between — it is a permission slip tied to the theme being explored.

## The radio analogy

Bashar offers a concrete analogy: a radio device. All the programs are broadcast at once; you only hear the one your receiver is tuned to at any given moment. You do not imagine the station should broadcast the programs "one after another" — that would take an interminable amount of time. They are all available now, and you choose which to focus on. Likewise, you have broken yourself into different frequencies and bandwidths; the life you experience is the one you are tuned to, while all the others are broadcasting right now.

## Each incarnation is a different person

A subtle and important point: each simultaneous incarnation is a distinct person. "It is not reincarnation, it's multiple simultaneous incarnations, and every single one of those incarnations is a different person. They're not you, you're not them."

The reason an apparent past life feels like a memory is the space-time point of view from which you are looking; mechanically, it is a cross-connection happening right now between two lives that exist right now.

Existence is full — every being that exists across all time and space fills existence — so no one can take another's place; each identity remains itself.

## Bashar as the channel's own future self

Bashar applies the teaching to himself: the channel sitting before the audience (Darryl Anka) is "one of what you would call my past lives." Bashar is, so to speak, a future incarnation of the channel; the channel is a past incarnation of Bashar. "But obviously, we exist simultaneously, or this couldn't be happening."

The contact is only possible because the so-called past and future lives are concurrent.

## Bleed-through between lives

Because the lives are simultaneous, the boundaries between them can thin. Bashar describes a woman who spontaneously sat at her employer's piano and played concert music she did not know she could play. He told her she had her own incarnations "wherein you are very musically inclined," and had allowed herself "to shift back and forth, side to side, across the barriers of time and space." The ability was a bleed-through from a simultaneous self; the reason she could not repeat it later was not that the ability had left but that she had begun to doubt it.

Bashar also describes parallel-life agreements around pregnancy: certain beings may come in and go out of a given frequency, and a "child" may be deciding, along with the mother and all the other versions of the mother across parallel realities, which version will physically manifest the role to term.

## How to recall a so-called past life

When asked for the best method to remember a so-called past life, Bashar's instruction is to relax and stop needing to know it. Act on your excitement with no expectation or insistence on a particular outcome, and the information you need will arrive when and where you need it — "and if you don't receive it, you don't need it. Period."

## Practical implications

Reframe "past lives" as cross-connections happening right now between simultaneous selves, rather than as a sequence of lives receding into the past. The linear view is valid inside physical reality but is not the actual structure.

Use Bashar's radio analogy to anchor the idea: each life is a frequency you are tuned to; the others are not gone, just not currently your focus. The compartmentalization is what allows focused creation.

Treat spontaneous abilities, sudden recognitions, or unexplained skills as possible bleed-through from a simultaneous self — and notice that doubt, not the loss of the ability, is usually what interrupts the flow.

If you want to recall a parallel life, relax the need to recall it. Act on your excitement with zero expectation; what you need will arrive when needed, and what never arrives was never needed.

Bashar frames the number of lifetimes required for "mastery" as a chosen permission slip, not a fixed rule. Do not treat popular numerological frameworks (e.g. "one million lifetimes") as doctrine.

This material is metaphysical teaching about the structure of consciousness. It is not a substitute for professional psychological, medical, legal, or financial guidance.

## Representative passages

Reincarnation is a space-time-linear illusion. There is no past, there is no future. It is all happening all at once. So you have the idea of simultaneous parallel incarnations — S-P-I — spies. You have spies in many realities. Simultaneous parallel incarnations. No longer re-incarnation; that's an outmoded definition.— Bashar, Reincarnation Multiple Simultaneous Incarnations (reincarnation-multiple-simultaneous-incarnations#qa-1)

You have simply broken yourself up into different frequencies, different bandwidth — the analogy of your radio device. All the programs are there at once; you only hear the one you are tuned to at any given moment.— Bashar, Reincarnation (reincarnation#qa-2)

It is not reincarnation, it's multiple simultaneous incarnations, and every single one of those incarnations is a different person. They're not you, you're not them. [...] It feels like a memory because of your space-time point of view, but it is actually a cross-connection happening right now because all those lives exist right now.— Bashar, How Do I Know I Am An Eternal Being Multiple Simultaneous Incarnations (how-do-i-know-i-am-an-eternal-being-multiple-simultaneous-incarnations#qa-3)

The channel sitting before you is one of what you would call my past lives. That is why we are doing this. I am a future incarnation, so to speak. He is a past incarnation of mine, so to speak. But obviously, we exist simultaneously, or this couldn't be happening.— Bashar, Reincarnation Multiple Simultaneous Incarnations (reincarnation-multiple-simultaneous-incarnations#qa-3)
