# Simultaneous Incarnations

There is no literal past or future. What you call past and future lives are multiple, simultaneous incarnations — distinct persons coexisting at once as extensions of one oversoul, each in its own frequency domain. The linear, life-after-life story you may tell yourself is an "illusionary continuity perspective," a point of view within the structure of existence, not the mechanics of the structure itself.

## One moment, many lives

Everything really is the same moment; what you call different moments is the same moment from different points of view. So when you remember a "past life," you are not retrieving something that happened earlier in a line — you are making a present cross-connection to another life that exists right now. The cross-connection feels like a memory only because of your space-time point of view.

Because all lives are simultaneous, the ordinary idea of "reincarnation" is a perspective, not the mechanism. You can create the experience of a linear sequence, life after life, but that is a point of view riding on top of a structure in which every life is already occurring. As Bashar puts it plainly: "It's not reincarnation, it's multiple simultaneous incarnations, and every single one of those incarnations is a different person. They're not you, you're not them."

## Distinct persons, not merged identities

This is the distinction the teaching turns on: each incarnation is a separate person. "Every single being, and every single life, is always that being." The person you were in another life is always them; the person you are now is always you. There is no room for you to become anyone else, because existence is full — "all the people that exist throughout all time, all space, fill existence. You can't take their place. They can't take yours."

So the work of "remembering" a past life is not recovering a former you. It is becoming aware of a connection to another being who is alive right now in its own reality, a connection you have deemed relevant to the theme you are exploring in this life.

## Cross-connections made from the present

What you call karma, past-life memory, or energetic ties to other lives are cross-connections you create from the present. You link to other simultaneously existing lives because, based on the theme you chose to explore, you believe those connections will serve you — and those other lives are simultaneously cross-connecting back to you for the same reason, downloading information they need for their own themes.

This is why the present creates the past, not the other way around. When you change in the present, you can literally have a new history, because billions of times per second you are expressing your consciousness through the eyes of a literally different person — and that person need not inherit the same past.

## More than one life in the same time frame

An oversoul can also choose more than one life in what you call the same time frame. You may be an extension of an oversoul, and another physical person — alive right now — can also be an extension of that same oversoul. Two such extensions are capable of meeting each other within a single incarnational window, which Bashar says is "actually done quite often." But meeting is not guaranteed, and recognition is not guaranteed either; both depend entirely on relevance to the themes each extension is exploring.

Sometimes two extensions of the same oversoul meet and feel a strong attraction; sometimes they meet and find incompatibility; sometimes they never cross paths. The popular idea of "twin flames" can be an instance of this, but need not be — the label often simply names two friends who agreed to "amp up" their vibration together to mirror each other's essence. On the highest level, of course, everyone is an extension of the same source, so the question "are we from one oversoul?" depends on the level at which you are creating the connection and the themes you chose to explore in that creation.

Identical twins can be a special case of this single-time-frame splitting. The oversoul may say to itself: there are certain things I wish to experience that, by the definitions of the society I am being born into, are mutually exclusive for one person to experience — "but not by two. So how about if I become two people who look the same? Representative, therefore, that I am the same basic idea but experiencing the polarity of itself."

## Inspiration, sightings, and encounters with simultaneous selves

Because simultaneous selves are alive right now, interactions between them can surface in ordinary life as inspiration, dreams, or sightings. When you receive a sudden inspiration, it is "always a parallel version of you, since you shift billions of times per second" — a cue arriving from a simultaneous self.

In one reported case Bashar affirmed that a figure piloting a ship seen through a bedroom window was the witness's future, parallel self.

The same logic reframes the question "where do I come from?" Asked in the old way — implying another planet, dimension, or civilization of origin — it is, in Bashar's words, "old-fashioned, outdated, outmoded." You come from Earth, because that is where you were physically born. What you are really asking is: "what other simultaneously coexisting realities am I connecting to from this life that serve me in helping define the theme I chose to explore in this life?" The point of those connections is not to disconnect from Earth to "go home," but to bring the vibration of those other lives through yourself into your Earth life as a living example.

## What survives, what changes

Even after physical death, identity does not dissolve. Harmonization with All That Is expands identity rather than removes it. The you that you are now will always be this you; "another part of your over-soul will have an experience with this you," even if the you you think you are plays at pretending to have another point of view as another person. That does not negate the person you are now — that person always exists, and the spirit version of that person always exists simultaneously.

This is one reason, Bashar says, that people who have physically died do not always "show up" the way the living expect: when you die you find that another spirit version of the person still living is already there. You are interacting with their spirit version anyway, so "why do you need to go back to the physical version unless there's a real reason to?"

## Practical implications

Treat "past-life" material as a present connection, not a fixed history. What you remember is a cross-connection to a life that exists now and serves the theme you are exploring. You can change the connection by changing in the present.

Do not collapse other lives into "you." Each incarnation is its own person with its own perspective. Respecting that boundary keeps the model coherent and prevents the confusion of thinking you must somehow "fix" or "relive" another life.

Reframe "where do I come from?" as "what am I connected to, here, that serves my theme?" The point of any simultaneous connection is to bring its vibration into this life as your Earth version of it — not to escape Earth.

Let encounters with people be case-by-case. Whether a strong connection is an oversoul extension, an agreement between friends, or simply a reflective relationship cannot be settled by a label. Look at the themes being explored rather than forcing the word "twin flame."

Release grief into the larger picture of continuing identity. The model says the person you knew still exists in some form; this is metaphysical framing, not medical or psychiatric guidance, and it does not replace professional support for grief.

## Representative passages

It's not reincarnation, it's multiple simultaneous incarnations, and every single one of those incarnations is a different person. They're not you, you're not them. […] It feels like a memory because of your space-time point of view, but it is actually a cross-connection happening right now because all those lives exist right now.— Bashar, How Do I Know I Am An Eternal Being Multiple Simultaneous Incarnations (how-do-i-know-i-am-an-eternal-being-multiple-simultaneous-incarnations#qa-3)

An oversoul, in a sense, splits itself into multiple simultaneously existing incarnations — what you call past lives and future lives all exist at once, just in different frequency domains. At the same time, an oversoul can also choose to have more than one life in what you call the same time frame. […] That's actually done quite often.— Bashar, Multiple Incarnations In The Same Time Frame (multiple-incarnations-in-the-same-time-frame#qa-1)

It is not always the case that [a strong connection] has to be extensions of the same oversoul. It can simply be different acquaintances, friends who have decided to explore that kind of theme together in a particular life, and thus they will amp up their vibrations in such a manner as to reflect to each other the essence of what each of them needs to know about themselves.— Bashar, Multiple Incarnations In The Same Time Frame (multiple-incarnations-in-the-same-time-frame#qa-2)

What you're actually saying [by "where do I come from?"] is […] what other simultaneously coexisting realities am I connecting to from this life that serve me in helping define the theme I chose to explore in this life? […] You are making cross connections to all the lives that serve you in this life, even as all the other lives are making cross-connection simultaneously to your experiences in this life.— Bashar, Children Future Changes And Their Simultaneous Lives (children-future-changes-and-their-simultaneous-lives#qa-5)
