# Space & Navigation

Bashar's account of how his civilization (and others) move through space turns the ordinary picture of travel inside out. Distance is not crossed; a ship relocates. The vacuum of space is not empty but seething with virtual potential, threaded with interwoven energy matrices that are the paths of consciousness between points. Navigation is the act of scanning that potential, locking onto the vibratory rate that represents the destination, and synchronizing with it. Because what you call location is only a property of an object's frequency equation, a ship that changes its vibratory signature has, in that instant, already arrived.

## Location is a property of the object, not a place it occupies

The teaching begins with a redefinition of what "location" actually is. A ball at location A is a vibrational equation that contains the vibration "location A" — that vibration is part of the object itself. Move the ball to location B and the locational vibration changes; the equation changes, and Bashar says it is not even the same ball. Surround a ship with an energy bubble that unlocks it from any particular location, impose upon it the vibration of location B, and when the bubble is removed the ship must find itself instantaneously at location B, because it can no longer exist at location A — it is no longer that equation.

In the same session Bashar links this to the speed of thought. Thought is instantaneous because everything is connected and the ideas of distance and time are illusions; the instantaneous jump from star to star works on the same principle — matching a destination vibration rather than traversing the intervening space.

## Navigation is scanning, locking on, and synchronizing

The navigation-limitation session describes the same process in denser, more technical language. The overlapping matrices of energy that form the paths of consciousness between points in space are not really "travel" but a three-dimensional weave unwoven and re-formed at particular points. Earth's ships, in this view, do not navigate space at all; they exist only on the surface of space and have not penetrated true space or made use of the interwoven energy linkages created out of the sea of virtual probabilities in what is mistaken for a vacuum. That vacuum is seething with energy and potential — virtual existences on the verge of occurring that are not brought into physical reality without the proper mental momentum. All navigation is, he says, is scanning the potential, locking onto the particular vibratory rate that represents that reality (in the same way your own energy pattern represents you), and synchronizing — merging with it.

The practical consequence is that any time spent "traveling" is actually spent in the relocation exercise — the scanning, locking, and synchronizing — not in motion across a distance. Once the new signature is imposed and allowed to synchronize, the ship has instantaneously relocated itself, no matter the distance.

## True spaceflight is an inward journey

The mass-consciousness session reframes this same idea as an inner one: civilizations that still believe they must create conflict will not reach very far into space. Once the true penetration of space is understood as the traveling within the self, conflict cannot exist within you. When analysis is used in space travel — just as the exterior surface of the brain is used for analysis — you slide around only on the surface of your brain-space and never penetrate to the doorway within the brain which is true traveling in space.

A linked claim in the same session is that traveling anywhere in space is really the same as traveling anywhere within your brain; the brain is treated as a point-for-point representation of the multiverse. The surface-only relationship to space is therefore the same as a surface-only relationship to consciousness — both have to be penetrated inwardly to go anywhere real.

## Practical implications

The navigation teaching is presented as a metaphysical model attributed to Bashar's civilization, not as instructions a human can operate tonight. What the transcripts draw from it for a learner is comparatively modest:

Treat distance and location as consequences of vibration rather than fixed external facts. The shift in definition is the change that makes the rest of the model thinkable.

Treat the "vacuum" — and any blank in life — as seething with quiet probability rather than empty; the relocation exercise is what selects one probable reality out of that quiet.

Recognize that the journey outward and the journey inward are the same journey; a civilization that has not made peace within itself cannot really go anywhere in space, because the only true penetration of space is the penetration of the self.

None of this is a claim that a person can build such a ship or that human spaceflight is presently doing this work. Bashar's explicit statement is that Earth's ships have not penetrated true space at all and that true spaceflight will not be achieved until an inner growth connection is allowed. The model is presented as a description of how it works for his civilization, and as a mirror for the inner work that the model implies.

## Representative passages

Location is not a place an object exists in. Location is a property of the object itself. A ball at location A is a vibrational equation that contains the vibration location A — it's actually part of the object. You can surround the ship with an energy bubble that unlocks it from any particular location, impose upon it the vibration of location B, and when you remove the bubble, it will immediately find itself instantaneously at location B, because it can no longer exist at location A because it's no longer that equation.— Bashar, An Evening With Bashar In Hawaii (an-evening-with-bashar-in-hawaii#qa-2)

Within what you think of as space, that vacuum which is not a vacuum but is seething with energy, seething with potential — virtual existence, things on the verge of occurring, yet not brought into physical reality without the proper degree of momentum in a mental sense, in mass terms of consciousness. That is all our navigation is: scanning the potential, locking on to one particular vibratory rate which represents that reality — in the same way your own energy pattern represents you — and synchronizing, merging with it.— Bashar, Navigation Limitation (navigation-limitation#qa-3)

Civilizations which in your terms reach space and still have an idea that they must create that conflict will not reach very far into space. Once you allow yourself to understand that the true penetration of space is the traveling within the self, then you will not allow that conflict to exist within you.— Bashar, Mass Consciousness (mass-consciousness#qa-2)
