# Timing

Timing, in Bashar's teaching, is not a fixed external track that events move along — it is something you create from the present. You create time; you do not pass through it. The right timing for any unfolding is therefore determined by your vibration, your absorption, and your willingness to act on what has already been given, not by an urgency to force the next thing before the current thing is integrated. Used well, this view dissolves hurry; used badly, urgency actually slows processing down.

## You create time

The foundational claim is that you create time rather than move through it. When you love what you are doing and "time flies," you literally experience less passage of time because you did not create as much of it. Doing what you love keeps you younger because you create — and therefore age through — less time. Conversely, when you micromanage the path from here to there and invent many intermediate things that must happen, you must create more time for all those things to happen in. Living in the present, living more holistically, creates less time and allows things to happen more instantaneously, because everything exists now.

## "There is no rush"

Bashar repeatedly redirects urgency. When a questioner is overwhelmed by the volume of information and the urge to absorb it all at once, the instruction is: take what you are capable of absorbing, and once you absorb it you will be capable of moving to another area with it — a step-by-step process. You do not have to rush. You are an eternal, infinite spirit; you will know what you need to know for this lifetime, and what you do not need to know you will never learn (though you may learn it somewhere else if you need to know it). Let it unfold in appropriate timing.

The same principle applies to civilizational evolution. Asked whether a society could choose to live completely in a non-physical realm, Bashar confirms both his society and ours will eventually do so — and that it will take your society about a thousand years to get to that point. "No hurry, no rush. Live in the moment."

## The paradox: relaxation accelerates processing

A counter-intuitive corollary is that hurrying actually slows the processing of information or experience. "When you relax, information can actually be processed more quickly by you." The hurry signal and the relaxation signal are opposite vibrations; the hurry vibration creates more time (more intermediate steps that must happen), while the relaxation vibration creates less. Until you absorb what you have been given, it makes no sense to be given more, or to access more.

## Prediction reads present energy, not the future

Because the present is the only time in which you exist, what you call prediction is not looking into a future separate from the present — it is sensing the energy that exists at the time and place the prediction is made. If the energy does not change, you say it "came to pass"; if you change your mind (your vibration), the energy changes, and so much for the prediction. You are always only sensing the present, because the present is the only time in which you exist, always and forever. All lives are simultaneous; all events in every life are simultaneous. It is a matter of perspective.

This is why Bashar can say, "All dates with destiny are on time by definition. You will never miss anything you have chosen to experience." The timing is built into the choice; missing it is not a possibility the way it is under a fixed-track model of time.

## Perfect timing is already operating

A stabilizing recognition is that everything you attract yourself to — every event, situation, relationship, idea, perspective — is already arriving in perfect timing, manifesting the experiences you chose to explore in this physical life without interruption. Synchronicity works already; you do not have to make it work. Let it work. Forcing or pushing it is the signal that you do not believe it is already here, already now.

## Practical implications

When you feel overwhelmed by information or by the scale of a process, return to the present step. Take what you can absorb, act on it, and let the next area become available only after the current one is integrated. Acting on what has already been given must precede receiving more.

Notice hurry as a vibration, not as a measure of importance. When you catch yourself rushing, experiment with relaxing into the present task; the teaching is that relaxation, not urgency, is what allows information and events to be processed more quickly.

Treat predictions as readings of present energy, not fixed futures. A prediction tells you about the vibration in the moment it was made; if you change your vibration, the prediction's "coming to pass" also changes. Do not hand your present agency to a forecast.

Trust the timing of what you have chosen. If something has not yet shown itself, look first at whether you have fully absorbed and acted on what already arrived; the next step is gated by the current one, not by a date on a calendar.

Note: Bashar's "no rush" applies to spiritual unfoldment, learning, and civilizational evolution. It is not a directive to delay action in urgent practical, medical, safety, or legal circumstances where prompt response is appropriate.

## Representative passages

Let it unfold in appropriate timing. There is no rush. When you relax, information can actually be processed more quickly by you.— Bashar, Accuracy Vs.Relevance In Discerning The Truth Of Information (accuracy-vsrelevance-in-discerning-the-truth-of-information#qa-2)

You are creating time. When you talk about the idea of time flying, doing what you love to do… when you do not experience a certain interval of time, it's because you actually didn't create that amount of time.— Bashar, Blueprint For Contact (blueprint-for-contact#qa-1)

A prediction is not looking into the future which is removed from the present. The idea you call prediction is a sensing of the energy which exists at the time in the place the prediction is made… You are always only sensing the present because the present is the only time in which you exist, always and forever.— Bashar, Blending (blending#qa-1)

All dates with destiny are on time by definition. Now, allow me to ask you, are you willing to have the conviction to act upon what excites you?— Bashar, Blending (blending#qa-1)

It will take your society about a thousand years to get to that point… Plenty. Enjoy yourselves. No hurry, no rush. Live in the moment.— Bashar, Acclimating To The Essassani World And Non physical Consciousness (acclimating-to-the-essassani-world-and-non-physical-consciousness#qa-1)
