Privacy policy

Sassani is a public archive of Bashar's teachings. You do not need to sign in to read the archive. Chatting with Bashar requires sign-in, so Sassani processes the sign-in and session information needed to keep that conversation private to you.

What Sassani does not do

  • Sassani does not include third-party advertising or analytics software in the mobile app.
  • Sassani does not sell or share your information with data brokers or advertisers.
  • Sassani does not require sign-in to browse the archive.

What Sassani does process

Reading the archive and chatting with Bashar sends requests to Sassani's own servers, the same way any app or website communicates with the service that runs it. Those servers process standard technical request information (such as your device's IP address) the way any web server does, in order to return the content you asked for.

Some features, such as tracking your place in a Transmission, are associated with your device rather than with your name or email address. This information is used only to keep that feature working across sessions on your device — it is not used for advertising, and it is not sold or shared with third parties.

Talking with Bashar — how replies are made

When you send a message to Bashar, your message and the surrounding conversation are sent to a third-party AI language provider, which generates the reply. This happens only when you send a message. Your private messages are not used to train models, are not shown to other learners, and are not used for advertising. You can delete your correspondence, and your whole record, at any time from Profile → Release.

Purchases through the App Store

If you subscribe to Premium in the iOS app, the purchase is processed entirely by Apple. Sassani receives the purchase identifiers needed to confirm your subscription and keep it working across your devices — never your payment card details. Managing or cancelling the subscription happens with Apple, not Sassani.

Changes to this policy

If Sassani starts collecting meaningfully different information — for example, by adding new profile or payment information — this page will be updated before that change ships, with a new date at the top.
