Terms of service

The agreement

These terms form a binding agreement between you and the operator of sassani.app ("Sassani", "we", "us"). By using Sassani you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

The Apple End User License Agreement also applies to your use of the iOS app, except where these terms and the Sassani privacy policy provide different terms for services Apple does not supply — in that case, the terms here govern those services.

Premium subscriptions

Some content requires a Premium subscription. Premium is billed through Apple's App Store as an auto-renewing monthly subscription. The price shown at purchase is the price Apple charges; it renews each month until turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.

You can view, change, or cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple ID subscription settings, or from Profile → Manage Subscription in the app. Deleting your Sassani record does not cancel an App Store subscription — cancel it with Apple first.

Refunds for App Store purchases are handled by Apple under Apple's refund policy.

Using Sassani

Sassani presents Bashar's public teachings for reading, reflection, and correspondence. You agree not to misuse the service: no attempts to break or overload it, no scraping or redistributing the corpus outside the service, and no use of the correspondence features to harm yourself or others. Teachings and conversation are not medical, financial, or professional advice.

Releasing your record

You can delete your record and its personal data from the app at Profile → Release. See the privacy policy for what deletion ends.

If these terms change materially, this page is updated with a new date before the change ships. Questions can be sent to hello@sassani.app.
